Copyright and DMCA Policy
How to report content that infringes your copyright, and how to respond to a report.
On this page
1. Our policy
AI AIDE LLC respects the intellectual property of others and expects users of its Services to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (the "DMCA"), and other applicable laws. This policy applies to all AI AIDE products and services, including content hosted on co-create.build, apps built and hosted with Co-Create (previews, live sites and the showcase), and aiaide.io.
2. Designated agent
Send notices and counter-notices to our designated copyright agent:
Notices sent by email are the fastest way to reach us. This address is only for copyright matters; other messages sent to it with a DMCA subject may not get a reply.
3. Filing a notice of infringement
Your notice must include:
- a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (or, for several works, a representative list);
- identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information for us to find it, such as the exact URL;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Before you file, please consider whether the use could be a fair use. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
4. What we do with a notice
When we receive a valid notice, we will act promptly to remove or disable access to the material, and we will make reasonable efforts to tell the user who posted it and give them a copy of the notice. We may send the notice, with your personal contact details removed, to a database such as Lumen. Where the material is part of an app built with Co-Create, we may disable the affected part, pause the app's preview or live site, or unpublish it from the showcase.
5. Counter-notice
If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number; and
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which AI AIDE may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.
When we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the person who filed the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to stop the activity, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after we received the counter-notice, at our discretion. Knowingly false counter-notices can also lead to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
6. Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are the subject of repeated valid infringement notices, and we may remove their content and Creations. A credit balance on an account closed for repeat infringement is forfeited.
7. Other intellectual property
For trademark or other intellectual property complaints, email cyberdesigner@aiaide.io with the subject "IP complaint", identifying the right, the material and your contact details. We will review it under our Usage Policy.
8. No legal advice
This page explains our process. It is not legal advice. If you are unsure whether material infringes, consult a lawyer.
