2. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights. We extend the core rights (access, correction, deletion and portability) to every user, wherever they live.
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Know and access | Learn what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it. |
| Correct | Fix information that is inaccurate. |
| Delete | Ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example tax records). |
| Portability | Receive your information in a commonly used, machine-readable format. |
| Opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising | We do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising. |
| Opt out of profiling | We do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. |
| Limit sensitive information | We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. |
| Object or restrict (EEA and UK) | Object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask us to restrict it. |
| Withdraw consent | Where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time. |
| Non-discrimination | We will not deny you service, charge you differently or treat you worse for using your rights. |
3. Making a request
Email cyberdesigner@aiaide.io with the subject "Privacy request". Tell us which right you want to use and which product your request is about, and send it from the email address on your account if you have one.
- Verification. We confirm your identity before acting, usually by confirming you control your account email. We may ask for more information if a request concerns sensitive data or an account we cannot match. We use what you give us for verification only.
- Authorized agents. An agent may make a request for you with your signed permission. We may still ask you to confirm your identity directly.
- Timing. We respond within 45 days (extendable by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, and we will tell you if so), or within one month in the EEA and UK.
- Cost. Requests are free. We may decline or charge a reasonable fee for requests that are clearly unfounded, excessive or repetitive, where the law allows.
4. Appeals
If we decline your request in whole or in part, we will explain why. You can appeal by replying to our decision or emailing cyberdesigner@aiaide.io with the subject "Privacy appeal". We will respond within 60 days and explain the result. If your appeal is denied, you can contact your state attorney general. Texas residents may file a complaint at https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection/file-consumer-complaint.
5. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Because we do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising, a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal does not change how we process your information. You can still control analytics cookies as described in the Cookie Policy.
6. More detail
Everything we collect, why and for how long is in our Privacy Policy.
